The Author came and read this to my Kindergarten classroom!
Alan volunteered to read Tom's Special Thanksgiving Day book to the whole kindergarten grade! The 68 students were memorized with the beautiful illustrations and engaging story. They all loved this book and it would be a great book for any student! It is a silly story with a surprise ending that kept the kids guessing.

Very cute!
This book was a very cute read. The illustrations and colors were amazing. This picture book is an easy read for young readers ages 6-10 to read. The main character Tom is a turkey that was born on Thanksgiving and the farmer planned a huge surprise for Tom but a rat told Tom that the main star of Thanksgiving is a turkey and so Tom jumped to the conclusion that he was the star since he was the only turkey on the farm. What Tom didn't know was that the farmer and rest of the farm animals surprise was a surprise birthday party. Overall I loved it and is definitely one that I will be sending to our grandchildren to add to their library.

A fun and surprising Thanksgiving Day
Tom's Special Thanksgiving Day was a fun and surprising Thanksgiving celebration. My children and I look forward to all holidays and Thanksgiving is one of our favorites. We are surprisingly not the biggest fans of turkey so we were actually worried for Tom on this special day. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. We really enjoyed this book. The illustrations were wonderful, the animal friends were great, the anticipation of what was going to happen to Tom had us on the edge of our seats and the ending was just all around fun and exciting. We ended this book super happy and excited and looking forward to our next Thanksgiving. A great read and a wonderful addition to our library. I would easily recommend this to friends and family.
