What People Say About the Book

Really cute story for younger readers!

I loved this story with the interaction between the 3 children and the cloud. I also loved how one of the children had empathy for the cloud because it was up in the sky all by itself and that it must be lonely. I read this book to our granddaughter over FaceTime and she loved it. She asked if this book could be added to her book list for Christmas this year so that she can add it to their home library for her younger brother to read when he gets older and I said done. Definitely recommend this one for your own young readers library.

A great day playing with friends

What a wonderful children's book. Alexander, Sophia and Mathias make a new friend in the lonely cloud. Illustrations are wonderful and such a heart felt story about how fun it is to be a child and playing together. Sophia sees the cloud and thinks he must be lonely by himself and asks him to play with her and her brothers. What a wonderful day it was. Definitely a great story to read to your child or let them read. A+++

Hi there cloud would you like to play with us?

My four year old grandson loves to read books at bedtime. He is very picky about his books and this one met his high standards. This is a sweet story about three young siblings that notice a lonely cloud in the sky and ask it to play with them. My grandson really loved the illustrations. In each one he would pay attention to the look on the cloud’s face to see how he felt. The story is easy to read and teaches kids how to be kind to others and make new friends. My grandson especially loved the ending which made him laugh for days. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has little readers or those to which you read.

Lonely no more!

Three siblings are at the park one day, and notice a single cloud in the sky. They decide the cloud must be lonely, so they ask it if it wants to come play with them. Soon it's dark, and the cloud doesn't want them to leave...and they don't want to leave it either...so...the kids invite the cloud home for dinner, where he drinks so much lemonade that he has to leave in a rush....and rains for 30 minutes afterward!

I read this book with my 5 year old. She enjoyed all of the illustrations, and I think she learned a little something about kindness and compassion while being entertained by the children and the lonely cloud.
